Hey B, Thanks for such a wonderful opportunity, a bit scary as it will be hard filling your shoes for a day, HELLO??!!!!

Anyhoo Darlings, I have decided to focus on an area I’m comfortable in. I’m Dammie Editor of HauTe – Fashion Nigeria Magazine {Nigeria’s foremost fashion magazine} and it’s focused to be the commitment profile of Nigerian designers, worldwide.

One day, someone said to me “Nigerian designers have NO IMAGINATION” I’d let you be the judge of that, as I have complied a few Nigerian designers that are doing it pretty well. YES, these are not names you hear every time in the “Nigerian fashion scene”, but they do exist and of Nigeria descent!

Here are my favourites:
Bianca Onoh(MBGN 1988)-Because she truly was beautiful and still is; I can't believe she hated modelling!
Binta Sukai(Miss Nigeria 1990)-Another true beauty, and she's from up north, too. Where is she now?
Regina Askia(MBGN 1989)-Lovely eyes.
Toyin Raji(MBGN 1995)-Those Miss Universe judges must have been blind!
Emma Komlousy(MBGN 1996)-I loved her accent, and she was very articulate.
Chika Chikezie-(MBGN 1998)-She really stood out.
Agbani Darego-(MBGN 2001)-Our very first Miss World,yay!
Ann Suinner-(MBGN 2001-2002)-Who said black is not beautiful?
Chinenye Ochuba-(MBGN 2002)So fresh-faced and polite.
Sylvia Edem-(Miss Nigeria 2002)-I predicted that she would win, and I was right.
Adaeze Igwe-(MBGN 2008)Not bad!

And here are the one I'm not sure of:
Omasan Buwa(MBGN 1987)-Tomboy!
Sabina Umeh(MBGN 1990)-Sorry Sabina, I really think you're a lovely person, but...
Matilda Kerry(MBGN 2000)-Sorry, but I just don't rate you, either.
Munachi Nwankwno(MBGN 2007)-I just don't get it.
Valerie Peterside(Miss Nigeria 2001)-Duh!
Amina Ekpo-(Valerie's replacement)-Looked like an oridinary girl to me!
