I prefer the ifunanya video. Munachi Abii is very beautiful and i wonder why it was just peter playing the ifunanya scene with her.

I'm not feeling the no one be like u video that much, maybe i expected too much from it cuz a friend of mine was in it(Peter's wife) and she was looking so cute in her wedding gown.

The girls danced well in the Roll it video. I love all their dance steps.

Rate the videos. Which do you all love best.

Kai negative anon (2.26pm), do you think Nigerian artistes are the only ones that are influenced by Western artises? Do you think Usher himself didn't draw his influences from others? FYI, Usher met with P Square (and watched them perform) when he was in Naija, and he said he was impressed. NOT PISSED (hisss)!!! Do you know that a big part of the mass appeal of P Square is that they use a lot of local slang and local languages in their music? Or maybe that's not 'original' enough for you, maestro. Anyway, I don't know why I'm even paying you mind sef. You're entitled to your own opinion, no matter how ignorant and unresearched.
I just dropped by to say the videos are really good - thanks for sharing, Bella. P Square are hardworking, ambitious guys and they are doing really well. Big ups to their brother Jude for delivering the videos.

I play "No One Like You" every day in my car but the video for it is very underwhelming. Maybe they were working with a small budget, but I was really looking forward to the video and I'm feeling let down. But I'll still jam to the music in my car.

I love it!! very creative guys, the whole time I was just wishing that I was on the Beach!! the only problem I had with it was that I could not stand Munachii's Hair extensions, and the fact that her hair was not lying flat with her extensions, if you want better hair extensions please contact AZARA asap!!

  30. ~I love these videos. They are perhaps the best videos I have seen from Nigerian artists! I particularly liked the video for Roll it. So proud...
~And just a thought: To everyone being negative, please realize that Nigerian artists have come a long way. B4 we tear them down, lets build them up. Remember the days of Daddy Shawkee and Tony Tetuila?! We've come a long way!
    Nuff said.

    ReplyDelete
  33. ok i have seen all d vids and i luvvvvvvvvvvv them.

d vid 4 no one like u kinda just makes u smile even if u dont want 2. u know very african type wedding.

    ReplyDelete
  34. im sorry but allow me vent

p square has been out now 4 um let me see...3 years or so right??

i think 3 years is MORE THAN ENUFF tym 2 determine if u like an artist or not and if u do not, SIMPLY STOP WATCHING THEIR VIDS OR LISTENING 2 THEIR SONGS. Really....it's that simple!!

incase ur unaware, MICHEAL JACKSON'S INFLUENCE crossed the border. it didnot just stick 2 Usher alone.
wat is this constant comparison with usher??
if anything they have better advantage over him b'cos they receive inspiration from everywhere and not just from American artists.

beyonce's famous 'oh oh' dance was from an african dance video she watched. so please enuff of the "oh they are trying 2 act like usher nonsense". yes given, they kinda look like the guy but should they now go and do plastic surgery??

funny thing is assuming they bursted on to the music scene with wrapper around their waist, pple wouldnt care for them as much as they do now. everyone would just call them RAZZ. abeg learn 2 appreciate good things and criticize when necessary.

*sigh* i can now BREATHE. LOL

    ReplyDelete
  35. lol hair azara i picked the hair thing 2 sha but i just use style comot my eye 4 there.
i didnt want 2 get annoyed. lol
but she looked good when she had on the hat.

and wait o its like only one of them sang the whole song!!

    ReplyDelete
  37. their brother Jude is doin an awesome job as well directing their vids.
he actually deserves as much credit as them.
it's bcos he's behind the scene sha

Munachiso Abii: She is a fine chick. She was working it in the video. Girl... was representing. She was reminds me of some girls that i attended secondary school with. Fine & nice girls.

...Definitely impressed with the quality of the videos + choreography...Hard to pick a fave. 'cuz they are all pretty darn good...However, I'll be petty and follow up on some of the comments tho'...over-extensive extensions (shots by d beach don't make u a mermaid)+ d scene with the wet "sarong" could've been a tad less graphic (c.f Omo 1978 commercial)...All in all; an impressive reel of videos...Keep up the good work Bella!!

    Peeeeeeeaaaaaaaacccccccceeee!!

MICHAEL JACKSON is the KING. When it comes to others whether African, African-American, Caucasian, Oriental, Asian and dem all o. Whether it's MC Hammer, Usher Raymond, PSquare, Vanilla Ice, Bobby Brown, Macky Mack,
B2K, you name it. They all come behind Michael Jackson and not forgetting the late James Brown of the "Sing it loud, i'm black and proud," fame.

At the end of the day i will give it up to PSQUARE!!!!!!!!!!

  47. ah, is that the Munachi babe with all the gossip? she is very pretty but the video was dry. I was expecting so much more considerin the way i have overplayed Ifunanya.

The Roll it Video? OMG. that is the best naija video i have ever seen. I had chills oh because i was sooooo proud!

'No one like you' was average, but who cares. Its a beautiful song that no video could have done it justice. Same with Ifunanya.

'More than a friend' was good. Lovely location in the opening scenes. Mehn naija we are trying o... these guys can dance. not some jabajantis free style. Real choreographed stuff. Im proud i swear!

    ReplyDelete
  48. mehn i love that unbeweavable weave in ifunaya

@ anonymous no one is hating on munachi..she is pretty but her hair wasnt nice in that video period!!!yes many of us wont reach where she is because we are not interested in being miss nigeria or whatever...do u think thats the ultimate landmark for success????we will surely surpass her and it doesnt have to be through a beauty pagent

    ReplyDelete
  64. ^^^^ wtf do you mean by "we will surely surpass her"..are you and munachi in a competion?

    ReplyDelete
  69. Hey Bella, good job as alwayz with this post!!

    ReplyDelete
  70. Anonymous2:43 PM

Munachi was looking too fake in the video. Why the horrible hair extension? The girl's shape is straight, no figure no shape! Apart from that, the song was nice but the girl put too much of western style, which kind of ruined the video

    ReplyDelete
  71. Anonymous2:44 PM

I love Psquare but I am no great fan of munachi. I hate that girl!

    ReplyDelete
  72. Anonymous2:47 PM

the girl on Ifunanya viddeo does not really represent nigerian girls well. was too fake and too much copy cat there.

    ReplyDelete
  73. Anonymous2:51 PM

THAT GIRLS HAIR EXTENSION ON IFUNANYA IS H**0***RR***I***B****L***E!!!!!!!!
Didn't any body tell her that before shooting the video???

    ReplyDelete
  74. Anonymous3:29 PM

The videos are nice. I like More than a friend the best. Munachi is pretty but she is also kinda 'jiggly' She needs to tone up a bit - lift some weights, do some pilates etc. Her weave was NASTAY!! I love the Ifunaya video though..... the boys are so handsome. I wish them continued success.

    ReplyDelete
  75. THEY STOMPED!! THEY FRIGGIN STOMPED!!! MY GOD! ROLL IT VIDEO IS THE BESTTTTTTTTTTTTTTT.. AM IN LURVE WITH P SQUARE A NEW!!.. NIGERIA SHUD MAKE ITS OWN VERSION OF 'STOMP THE YARD' WITH P SQUARE IN THE LEAD ROLES.....i still cant believe the stomped!!!

u need to stop hating and lighten up already! u dont go around just hating people, u need to have a reason why... get it?
