I am so sick and tired of so called 'Nigerian reality shows' that copy american reality shows.

For once it would be nice to have a reality show that has an original idea showing 'reality' in the Nigerian context.

    Love your blog.

  37. Anonymous9:42 AM

Hmm...i don think anyone should say anything abt anyone not being original,if you are so original then stop wearing jeans and all them westtern clothes.if it hurts you so much then start something and stop sitting there like a couch potato and pulling down what a couple of people have worked hard to accomplis.Right now as i speak i see it as the best show ever been thought of,so.....plsssssss

    ReplyDelete
  38. Anonymous9:50 AM

Well said...whoever you are,Nigerians should learn how to appreciate anyone who comes up with an idea be it something already done by our Oyinbo's or not.I went for this show and it bets West african Idols and every other reality show hands down so for whatever its worth, well done guys cant wait to get my tickts for the next show.

Did i hear someone asking about the judges?well well well i've got their names i have friends in top places.Dayo a contemporary African dancer with over 15yrs experience and he is the founder of THE IJODI dance group, Sara Boulez the president and founder of the society of the performing arts Nigeria (Oyinbo woman o) heard she has over 20yrs experience in dance and Segun Lawal founder and chief coordinator of spirit of David dance group over 10yrs of dance experience as well. Interesting choice I must say, at least they all know about dancing so that makes me entirely comfortable. Meanwhile something else you guys should look out for is the FASHION; my goodness they were all in all sorts from ZEBRA to Zizi, Byge,Naija Mafia,Monami etc and guys did you see the presenter? Am single and searching and wondering if I could hook up with her, info from anyone? Please please please have a good feeling about this one.

    ReplyDelete
  43. Anonymous9:20 AM

I have seen quite a bit of Zizi Cardow's picture and i am sorry but she is no designer. What in God's name do you call what she was wearing. And people, dont say'hating on her'. But you have to be blind not to think he attempt at shocking people has been misplaced. We have few designers in Nigeria but come on, we have far better ones - Jewel, Modela etc

  61. Anonymous8:29 PM

We saw the show in the UK on saturday.........was very impressed with it apart from a couple of embarrasing moment.

Pasuma- loved the dance he did in his intro week but what on earth was that, himself and the partner were so out of tune it was unbelievable I'm sure they were hearing a different music.

Omotola- where do I start...all you omotola fans make una go sit down. I dont see anything special about her ( acting ok)her dance on my scale is nil point. Gal cannot carry herself and not putting energy into it...she also needs to shed some pounds and looking at her she is not very comfortable with her body ( because there are some big ppl that carry themselves very well)

Sultan- Mwah!!! what can I say very good...he's too much

Nomoreloss- He needs to work on his co ordination with his partner, they both need to be in sync.

Mr Nigeria and lovette- He has the major advantage that his instructor is extremely small. I also thought this show was for celebrities that hadn't danced before... so I dont understand why the allowed him on the show

Kunle Afolayan- he needs to work extra hard......and why he's he still taking other contract while on the show, it shows he's not committed to the program then. dancing is nt easy and if you have to learn a routine in a week, focus is needed

    Tara- ok

Zizi- well not bad and not good either

Funlola- She might win it! Reason she is everythng the others are not. Competitive, energetic and focused.

Omowunmi- Girl can dance to but there is something still not right

    ReplyDelete
  62. Anonymous3:53 PM

hi everyone!sometimes, these celebrities are sooooo busy, they dont have time to rehearse properly and so you have what we saw in the chacha last week.but i hope that they will do better in the next episode as they have all seen how stupid they all looked on international TV!

    ReplyDelete
  63. Anonymous6:00 PM

Tara is out! count sultan was blood thirsty! Funlola escaped the grim reaper! Zizi precise! Omowunmi well bagged!Bryan had his scotch shaken not stirred! Kunle interesting! Omo T was in love! Pasuma shone in "bouncing" tango! nomoreloss hmnn...!

    ReplyDelete
  64. Anonymous9:43 PM

first impression...another copy of a foreign show.
second thought in my opinion; this shows our misplaced priorites. whats the bank telling us in a nation where millions of children go to bed hungry
    food for thought....

    ReplyDelete
  65. Anonymous9:00 AM

yeah yeah leave ur job and go serve in somalia you hypocrite!

    ReplyDelete
  66. Anonymous5:41 PM

Omotola should go home and look after her plenty children. she sucks

    ReplyDelete
  67. Anonymous5:44 PM

This whole show makes a mockery of the show Strictly come dancing. Can't someone come up with something original for Nigeria??

    ReplyDelete
  68. Anonymous4:55 PM

zizi is gone, mr nigeria is gone, and omotola is still there! i'm not watching the show again its crap

OMOTOLA TI JADE! omotola is out!!! i have a very big God o! He's always by my side He has sent Omo T packing even her money couldnt save her!

    ReplyDelete
  70. Anonymous2:12 PM

sound sultan is out and i must say it is areally big loss to this compeition, and his show dance was the best amongst every other contender, for me he will always be the champion

    ReplyDelete
  71. Anonymous4:03 AM

Nigeria we hail thee. When are we gonna stop copying, na wah ohhh!!
My advise to omotola and co, this an opportunity to loose some weight okay, as per the judges make una keep on doing ojoro(419) after all that's what we are know for all over the world. Come to think of it why can't ordinary pple come into the game or show or whtaever it's called. That's why I like the U.S,they give evryone an oppurtunity to try out s/thing new. Let's try to be original for once Nigerians, haba. Invent s/thing no one has done before.

    ReplyDelete
  72. Anonymous4:10 AM

Not bad but they should try make the texting results real and not manipulating it to suit their favorite person.
Any ways I'll see if I can come into the country & display my skills after I graduate here in Michigan, come home with my hubby and kid and see if I can kick some ass
