Anyhoo Darlings, I have decided to focus on an area I’m comfortable in. I’m Dammie Editor of HauTe – Fashion Nigeria Magazine {Nigeria’s foremost fashion magazine} and it’s focused to be the commitment profile of Nigerian designers, worldwide.
One day, someone said to me “Nigerian designers have NO IMAGINATION” I’d let you be the judge of that, as I have complied a few Nigerian designers that are doing it pretty well. YES, these are not names you hear every time in the “Nigerian fashion scene”, but they do exist and of Nigeria descent!
Aimas
Aimas is a fresh fashion label with exceptional twist on tees. It is designed by Tayo Shonekan, who shuttles between England and Nigeria.

Chichi & Chichi E
Chichi and Chichi E is a fashion house/company with Vintique – The upscale couture line and Odi - the younger hipper version and ready to wear line from the fashion house. You may have come across Chichi E on the Tyra Banks show or spotted the duo in Philadelphia style magazine. They are based in America.

Cranberry
Cranberry is a spunky fun label, behind this fashion house is a trio that is synonymous with fashion – Doreen & Joan Caven {Sisters} and Oseyi Etomi. They are currently based in America.

Dezhare
You need a dress? Ebun Oduwole has got you. Dezhare is a women’s wear label with a focus on dresses and Jackets. Dress that exude glamour and are designed with luxury materials like Vintage Aso – Oke {Courtesy of her mother}, Raw silk and such. Dezhare is based in England

Kemkemstudio
Is a fabulous one of a kind works of art that reflect a worldly sense of style that is youthful, with a hint of classics, rock and glamour. The label is directed by an eight {8} year veteran in fashion, Kemmy Oguntosin who has been mentored by the Phenomenal Carolina Herrera {Featured as Main designer on January/February ’07 issue of HauTe – Fashion Nigerian Magazine}. Motara
Currently in London Fashion College, after graduating in fashion design at the international Academy of design and Technology in Toronto. I’m in love with her latest collection {which you can check out in the current issue of HauTe – Fashion Nigeria Magazine}. The designer, Omotara Thomas really brings out the pride and joy that our African materials exude through magnificent designs.
