The event went really well and was very well-attended...
If you are a budding designer, exhibitions are really a valuable avenue to network and show-off your brand.
Anyway, check out some pics from the event!
Designer, Lanre Da Silva Ajayi (I LUV her clothes with a feverish passion...she is too fab!)
Various designers featured in this exhibition, so here are the rest of the wedding dresses by other designers -
Flowers and other wedding accessories/decorations were also featured -
*Many Thanks to purephoto for the pics
I am soo proud of Nigerian creativity...for those who haven't been back for a while...this is just a regular Lagos Saturday afternoon activity....Nigeria has sooo much potential and I'm very glad that we are beginning to leverage it....
Thanks sooooo much for all the comments and for spreading the word! MUAH!
What do you think of the wedding dresses, flowers, exhibition idea? Let us know!

Nice one Bella!!!..fab work...why bother going abroad and forking out "x" amount of £££ $$$$ to buy a wedding dress???
Naija we are doing BIG THINGS o
Those gowns are lovely! Nigerian designers are doing big things. Thanks for keeping us in touch with the progress we are making in our country. I love reading your blog.
I dont see anything I fancy in those dresses oh but I've seen Lanre Da-Silva Ajayi's other work...she's Femi's sister right?
Meanwhile big ups to Naija, I love the way we are just attaining heights everyday, love the novelty of the show (in Gidi I mean)
Naija designers r doing big things!! I love the dress that the chick next to Lanre is wearing, she knows her stuff when it comes 2 wedding dresses, she did my sista's dress!

OMG!..didnt know she had ventured into wedding dresses...i like though!..some are a bit too "frilly frilly" for me..but others are simply gorg!...I was at her wedding bout 2 yrs ago..and her bridesmaid's dresses were off the chain..VERY CREATIVE!..i wonder if she did those too!..and yeah Mona, she's Femi's sister. Great Post Bella!
Hi guys, I am interested in getting Lanre DaSilva's contact info or store location. Will be going home to Naija soon and would like to get some of her clothes. Pls. does anyone know how I can get in contact with this creative designer...

bella bella bella.
your blog is too much
Wow!!!!! those dresses are lovely. From Yemi Kosibah to Lanre Ajayi yeah NIG designers are really hooking it up. I would have loved to do the makeup for that show, cant help picturing all the fab looks in my head. Nice one bella..
I think the designs are simple and classic...
I have seen much worse wedding dresses in the uk, us, canada etc..
Lanre on the other hand is GORGEOUS! I dont know why you have to make negative comments on her looks but I totally disagree with u...
She is very creative and her finishing/craftsmanship is off the hook!
Is she related to Tope DaSilva?
And for the anonymous person that left a comment about celebrating mediocrity in Nigeria...Please dont go there. At least we are doing stuff. I dont see you doing anything to leave your mark for Nigeria. You might start with not being anonymous..
